Chef de Partie - The Orangery

A passionate Chef de Partie who is enthusiastic about creating dishes using locally sourced fresh ingredients, keen to have a responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are developed and maintained in our two AA Rosette Orangery, offering guests a fantastic selection of delectable fine dining choices.

The chosen candidate will carry out a variety of duties whilst striving to continuously improve the operational effectiveness of the department to enhance productivity and service, help to manage spend and contribute to producing a significant profit. You will work on all sections and be involved with menu planning and development along with the senior chefs. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are developed and maintained along with your colleagues.

• Willingness and the ability to work well within a team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen

• The ability to motivate and support team members in the day to day running of the kitchen
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Attention to detail
• Creativity and passion when it comes to food
• Excellent personal presentation and communication skills

Availability:

The normal hours of work are 45 per week, 5 days out of 7.  Full flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and evenings is essential to meet the commercial needs of the business. 

Salary:

£28k+ depending on experience
