Five Star Holiday Village seeks an enthusiastic and organised Duty Supervisor to join a busy customer focused team to cover a temporary period from 1st April 2025 for 12 months.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Village for a customer focused supervisor, passionate about working with a team to deliver a great customer experience in our Holiday Guest Reception/Reservations Team.

Interested in:

An energetic and approachable Supervisor keen to work closely with the existing Supervisors, Duty Managers and Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Reservations Office and Holiday Guest Reception whilst striving to continuously improve the operational effectiveness of the department to enhance sales and customer service.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate supervisory expertise and be keen to supervise, train and motivate others to deliver fantastic customer service

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Support the team with Short Break, Spa & Hotel Reservations
  • Maintain a close liaison with other Departments to deliver excellent customer service to mutual guests 
  • Produce weekly figures
  • Assist with management of staff
  • Assist with the management of financial payments relating to holiday bookings
  • Communicate data to other departments
  • Build and maintain an awareness of telephone and system statistics to monitor performance
  • Deal with guest queries and complaints, both over the telephone and face to face
  • Monitor customer service levels throughout the team to ensure consistent 5* performance
  • Provide support and training to team members
  • Take responsibility for Health and Safety Compliance

Availability:

We have one temporary, part-time position offering 32 hours over 4 days in a department that operates 7 days a week.

Shift patterns include weekends, mid-week, early mornings and evenings. The ability to cover afternoon, evening and weekend shifts is an essential requirement for this role.  

The department is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, shift times vary. Operating hours are Monday and Friday 8am-8pm, Tuesday to Thursday 8am – 6.45pm, Saturday 8am-5pm and Sunday 9am – 5pm.

 

Salary:

£21,080 per annum
