Guest Services Supervisor - Maternity Cover

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated enthusiastic individual to join our department and contribute to the delivery of a five-star holiday experience.  

Interested in:
A friendly and approachable individual is required to support the Department
Manager. Your aim will be to support in the continuous improvement of the
operational effectiveness of the department, ultimately providing the best
possible experience for our guests.

 

The main duties of the role:
• Provide a point of contact during a guests stay to ensure satisfactory
resolution to any guest issues or concerns.
• Build a good working relationship with support teams across the village to
ensure a 5* experience for all guests.
• Respond to any reported concerns regarding accommodation from
housekeeping and maintenance and assist with problem solving to have
all accommodation ready for arrivals.
• Arrange arrival gifts for those celebrating special occasions.
• Carry out courtesy calls for Signature properties, return complaints and
loyal guests.
• Assist in maintaining and improving standards across the accommodation
and holiday experience.
• Assist in collating and distributing guest feedback for continuous
improvement.
• Respond when necessary to guest feedback received through various
media and ensure appropriate follow up.
• Assisting with purchasing of guest supplies.
• Assist in the planning and management of our annual maintenance plan.

• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills with a warm and
friendly demeanour.
• Willingness and ability to work well within a team, but also comfortable
working independently.
• The ability to empathise and problem solve with excellent follow through
on tasks.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role is essential.
• A proactive approach to work with good time management and
organisational skills.
• Competent with data input and generating reports with various IT systems,
experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM preferable.
• Ability to evaluate and highlight any potential areas of improvement for
the day to day running of the operation and guest experience.
• To respond well to change and have a continuous improvement approach.
• Experience in a similar role, including handling complaints is required to
meet the demanding nature of this position.

Please note that applicants must hold a full valid UK driving licence.

 

Availability:
We have one, full time position offering 42 hours over 5 days. The normal hours
of work vary to cover the shift patterns within the department. Full flexibility to
cover weekdays and evenings is essential to meet the commercial needs of the
business.

This is a temporary, fixed term contract that will run until 31st December 2025.

 

Salary:
