Frequently asked Questions

We understand that planning a wedding can be overwhelming at times. That's why we have answered some of our most commonly asked questions for you below. Of course, our wonderful team of Wedding Planners will be happy to answer any other questions you have at your show round!

You will be asked to sign and contract including our terms and conditions and pay a non-refundable £500 deposit.

Once you have paid your initial deposit of £500 there is nothing to pay until 6 months prior to your Wedding Day, which is £1,500, then your final balance is payable 2 weeks before the day.

Yes, we highly recommend that every wedding at Ribby Hall Village has the appropriate insurance. This not only gives you the protection should circumstances beyond your control arise but also peace of mind on your special day.

Once you have booked your wedding with us you can contact the registry office from 1 year in advance of your wedding date. You can contact them on 0300 123 6705 to book your ceremony time. You will also have to give notice of marriage to the superintendant registrar of the district in which you live. This notice must be given by you both and is valid for 12 months. An attendance fee for the superintendant registrar is payable to them in advance.

Yes, all prices include the current rate of VAT at the time of print.

Yes, you may throw biodegradable confetti in selected outdoor areas. Please ask your Wedding Planner for details. Please note, confetti bombs and party poppers are not permitted.

On Fridays and Saturdays last orders are called at 12:00am and music is to conclude at 12:30am. From Sunday to Thursday last orders are called at 11:30pm and music will also conclude at this time.

Whilst we may host two weddings on the same day, our suites have separate entrances, outdoor spaces and facilities with no communal areas so you are unlikely to meet another wedding party on your special day!

Absolutely, we work closely with a local humanist celebrant who we recommend to perform such celebrations. To note, you will also need to arrange a civil ceremony with the local Registrar as Humanist ceremonies are not legally recognised in England at present.

We understand that dogs are part of the family so we would love for your four legged friend to join your nuptials. We just politely ask that they depart before guests are invited through to the wedding breakfast.

Our wedding suites are all on ground level and are fully accessible for guests.

Absolutely, the Village has ample complimentary parking for your wedding guests.

We will always have an alternative indoor venue that can be used and will be discussed with you beforehand.

Your wedding guests can take advantage of our 1 or 2 night rates on our luxury self-catering accommodation or will receive 10% off our standard breaks. This can be booked through your Wedding Planner.
